Locating Alexander the Great's final resting place, unknown to this day, remains a tantalizing goal for archaeologists and treasure hunters - as well as a cunning despot with the single-minded desire to surpass Alexander as history's ultimate conqueror. Cotton Malone, former U.S. Justice Department agent turned rare-book dealer, learns from his friend, Cassiopeia Vitt, that a suspicious blaze was part of a campaign of arson masking a diabolical plan to find Alexander's grave - and a miraculous serum.

Tourist season is swinging into high gear in Miami. So are the activities of a bizarre terrorist group determined to keep the hapless "snowbirds" away. Armed with bombs, weed, and jumbled credos, they move toward their grand target, the Orange Bowl Parade, with plans to bring Miami and its tourist trade to a halt.

Would you try another book from Carl Hiaasen and/or George Wilson?

I don't think so. I was looking for a novel with some laughs and this one did not do it for me.I doubt if I will try them again.

What could Carl Hiaasen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Make it a lot funnier.

    OK well read

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. I google'd comedy and Carl Hiaasen and this book was on the list but I did not find it very funny
