Six shots. Five dead. One heartland city thrown into a state of terror. But within hours the cops have it solved: a slam-dunk case. Except for one thing. The accused man says: "You got the wrong guy". Then he says: "Get Reacher for me". And sure enough, from the world he lives in - no phone, no address, no commitments - ex-military investigator Jack Reacher is coming. In Lee Child's astonishing thriller, Reacher's arrival will change everything - about a case that isn't what it seems, about lives tangled in baffling ways, about a killer who missed one shot - and by doing so gives Jack Reacher one shot at the truth.

Would you consider the audio edition of One Shot to be better than the print version?

The Jack Reacher series is always great to listen to on my long drives to work.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

    So far I haven't met a Jack Reacher plot I didn't like. :-)

What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?

Dick Hill is a great narrator for this series. He makes the character come to life. I like listening to him in other books as well.

The beautiful but twisted Jakoby Twins are creating transgenic monsters and genetically enhanced mercenaries for sale to the highest bidder. Their father, who takes evil to an entirely new level, is using cutting-edge science to complete the Nazi master-race program.

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is on the trail of her mentor and more than friend, the bounty hunter Ranger, who is the prime suspect in the murder of an international black-market arms dealer's son. Now he's the hunted and Stephanie's the hunter!

One for the Money, Two for the Dough...download the first five installments of the Stephanie Plum series.

    Al says: "Not that bad"
"Never a dull moment from 1 for the Money to Hot 6."
    Overall

I love the Stephanie Plum novels. Especially the narrations by Lori Petty and
Debi Mazar. Those two ladies give it that New Jersey feel. They make the characters seem real and loveable. I wish all the Stephanie Plum novels were Narrated by them. Lorilei King's voice doesn't fit the character, but I still love the Stepanie Plum series.
