"Love all of them"
Good writing, great characters, tremendous narration.
"Bad Writing"
Maybe I shouldn't have listened right after Lee Child's latest, but this book made no sense to me. The dialog is forced and the character development was improbable. The story itself was too outlandish to be remotely believable.
Couldn't finish it.
"Not his best work"
Perhaps I was anticipating too much here. The story really never paid off. There were too many characters that didn't matter.
He used to set the bar on the genre....
Narration was good.
"Not much there, man"
First one I have heard by this guy. Plot was weak. Dialogue was odd (too much "man" and "baby" - not sure people really ever spoke that way). No Connelly, Crais, Coben, or Child. Maybe I only like authors who's last name starts with "C"?
"Baseball Lover"
This is a story of Parker's love of baseball set around the story of Jackie Robinson.
It put you right in the time, and has enough interesting charcters, and a good story.
I loved it!
