I've read all of the previous books in this series and it's a pretty good western erotic series, even though it does go into graphic detail regarding anal sex which is a bit much for my taste.
Each of the female characters are portrayed differently - each with their own personality which I really liked. And as always, I love the happily ever after at the end.
Isabelle Gordon has a nice voice that told the story rather well.
This book was worth the listening time.
This book was impossible for me to get into. The characters were boring and just did not capture my attention in the least.
I'll try another series - this one did not have a good start at all.
Jusstine Eyre didn't do a bad job - just the book sucked.
All of them.
Definitely - I enjoy listening to books much better than reading print. It's easier to get into the story yet get other things done such as house work without distractions.
I compare each of the books by the same author with each other. I enjoyed all the books in the series - at first it was hard to listen to the narrator but she sorta grew on me after a while!
The scene on the waterfront right before Cat was captured was particurlary moving. The author did a great job with just the right amount of descriptions - not too evasive or too lengthy. The scene in the cave at the end of the book was great, too.
Cat and Bones - another great chapter in their lives!!
I liked the differenct nuances about each character. Each were distinctly different and the narrator did a great job reading the story.
I like Shi - she is independent yet submissive enough to go along with the character's personality without being wimpy.
I thoroughly enjoy Jill Redfield's narration.
2 lovers meant to be
Overall a really good story line, narration, and the length was just right!
Yes, I would much rather listen to the audio version than printed version because it seems to come to life more.
Aiden was the perfect dream husband. He listened, protected yet did not dominate Alexandria. The author brought alot of Alexandria's parents traits from the first book into her character in this book.
Marc is very good with the voices. He took some getting use to because the other narrators were women but he did a great job.
I just like the entire book. It was a very good pace - not too boring or long, with just the right amount of romance and adventure.
Overall excellent book.
This was a very good book but really went into too much details and I found my self saying "hurry up already". It was slower paced than the first book. Still an excellent book but just not as captivating as the first book.
The most interesting was how Shea's surgeon abilities were amplified by her Carpathian abilities. It was interesting how the traits could be turned to a surgeons advantage.
The least interesting was all the details about the jerks that were behind the killing of the Carpathians. Wasn't very interesting at all.
I like Abby better than the narrator of the first book in the series. Abby does a much better job with the voices and doesn't have that whiny little girl voice that Raven had in the last book.
This book was ok - didn't make me laugh or cry but still a good book.
After I listen to all 25 books in the series I may turn around and re-read this first book in the series. It was very captivating! Love how tRaven and Mikhail met, fell in love, and became life mates.
I like the idea of Carpathians being a race that if their emotions get away with them then they turn rogue and into vampires. Excellent concept.
I really like Raven. She is independent and does not mind speaking her mind and telling Mikhail exactly how she feels - no wimpyness for this lady!
The part where Raven was totally freaked out about "going to earth" was awesome and well written. She made me feel like I would probably feel if I were buried in the ground to revitalize.
The development of each character, in particular Elena and Raphael, was wonderful to listen to. It was as if it were written by 2 authors - each with their own personality.
Elena is my favorite character - strong willed and independent.
Justine is a very good narrator - does the voices very well.
I tried to listen to it all in one sitting but there were just not enough hours in the day and unfortunately I have to go to work, darn it!
There are very few books that I would listen to again but I must say that this would definitely be one of them.
I like Elana. She is a strong woman with a mind of her own and doesn't take much crap from her soulmate. She stands up for herself and for others no matter the consequences. Very brave woman!
Yes, I have listened to all of Justine Eyre's performances and she is excellent!
Epic supernatural love story!
Excellent book - excellent series!
I enjoyed the building storyline about the characters. They seem that they could actually be real people!
I love the entire series. It reminds me of the Daggers Brotherhood series - well written, hard to put down, entrancing....
Oh that's hard to say - each one was awesome!
Yes, definitely but unfortunately I couldn't. I did stay up too late though listening to it though.
Great listen - highly recommend the entire series!
Fantastic Vampire Listen!
The most memorable moment was when the brotherhood met Beth, they all kneeled, put their swords into the floor and pledged their allegiance to her.
Not really - his tone never changed from one character to another. But he read it in a smooth, easy to listen to voice - he just didn't differentiate between the characters.
Wrath by far - 6ft 6" of pure muscle and a very strong main character in the book.
This is the first book in the series - I've already purchased book 2. If it's anything like the first book, I'll be thrilled and will continue purchasing the entire series (I believe it's 11 books).
