I love these stories. They are another twist on the characters from the TV Series.
I love in the books, that Niki and Jameson, get HOT and STEAMY!!!
The drama is great and the humor is excellant.
Johnny Heller adds depth to the characters. I can't imagine anyone else narrating a Richard Castle story.
I liked the character of Ashlyn, vulnerable and fiesty at the same time.
I hated the conversation between the Lords.
The sacrifice by Ashlyn. No spoilers here.
Too often the male voices failed to match the character, or the narrator spoke with a different characters voice. Was confusing and bad
Intrigue, Lust and Passion!
Eliza, her struggle with her passions, trying to rationalize feelings is all the more rewarding when she gives in.
Yes, Justine Eyre's performance of Regency romances and erotica is wonderful. Her voice lends well to the language of the time.
Reason or Passion, which is stronger.
Hot, Hotter, and Crap! You will have to read it yourself, I won't let slip any spoilers.
Charlie's interaction with the Big Bad Bikers from the isylum
Her deadpan delivery, on the comments that just make you want to roll over laughing.
Yes, if I could have.
Absolutely! Molly Haper's characters are hystericaly sarcastic and can make me laugh out loud. Which is why I'm glad I have a private office at work. I can listen while doing routine work and have been known to laugh out loud.
The geek references with Nick. I also loved the banter between Maggie and Mo
Amanda adds a little extra 'sass' to Molly's wonderful characters.
The cover caught my attention, the story kept it. I laughed out loud as I drove to and from work.
Sid was funny with his 'bad' bone jokes. As the story progressed, I wanted to know more about him.
A real skeleton in the closet!
Awaiting the next book in the series!
After all the hype I've heard about it over the years, I expected more. It was controvertial in its time, but now it is old hat
Never read the book.
I love the fact that the tree main characters had happy childhoods and have still have both parents married. YES, regular people can just be KINKY!!!!!
Smooth, velvety, and rich
Yes, and I had to keep going back and relisten, if I felt that I missed something. Usually the hot sex scenes ;)
I normally like Maya Banks books, but I was sadly disappointed in this one and have no plans to finish the series.
Not overly impressed with Adam Paul's narration. Maybe a female narrator would have been better. But I doubt it.
I would and have. The vampires, not the type expected. The steam-punk...definately NOT expected; a wonderful surprise!!!
I can't compare this to any other book that I've read, the steam-punk aspect was a unexpected and gave me a new genre to try.
I picked up this book, strictly because James Marsters was the narrator. I absolutly LOVE his narration of the Dresden series. Now this is a new favorite series. Both author are very well written, but Marster's narration hickes it up several notches!
Vampires, steam-punk, and head strong princess. The hero has his work cut out for him.
I would and have recommended Molly Harper's books to friends. I will be adding this series to my recommendation list.
Harper's heroines are funny, sarcastic, and they get into the most wonderfully odd-ball situations.
Mo (no spoiler on what it is short for) who is a true southern girl. She doesn't take any crap from anyone and her internal dialogue is hysterical!!!!
A good narrator can bring the character's to life. Ronconi's performance was GREAT and will be the voice I hear in my head, when I think about Mo.
