A pilot stranded in the desert awakes one morning to see, standing before him, the most extraordinary little fellow. "Please," asks the stranger, "draw me a sheep." And the pilot realizes that when life's events are too difficult to understand, there is no choice but to succumb to their mysteries. He pulls out pencil and paper... And thus begins this wise and enchanting fable that, in teaching the secret of what is really important in life, has changed forever the world for its readers.

If you could sum up The Little Prince in three words, what would they be?

    one great adventure

What other book might you compare The Little Prince to and why?

What does Humphrey Bower bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

listening to the book as opposed to reading it makes the story play more like a movie in my head.

The two-time Emmy Award-winning actress has written her first book, a surprisingly raw and triumphant memoir that is outrageous, moving, sweet, tragic, and heartbreakingly honest. Guts is a true triumph - a memoir that manages to be as frank and revealing as Augusten Burroughs, yet as hilarious and witty as David Sedaris.

Would you listen to Guts again? Why?

absolutely - it is well written, brimming with honesty, and thorougly entertaining.

What other book might you compare Guts to and why?

a million little pieces without the lack of credibility.

Have you listened to any of Kristen Johnston’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    are there others?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when she thanked nurse ratchet at the end of her stint at the london hospital.

I've been loving the fact that I can listen to books instead of just reading it [slow reader], and this is perhaps one of the most enjoyable piece of literature I have had the pleasure of coming across with.

Kudos to both Author and reader! Superb Storytelling, I can't wait to get the whole series and devour them with gusto. Sookie Stackhouse ROCKS!
