This book fleshes out Andrea's backstory as well as giving us a new look on the caracters of Kate Daniel's world. The book is really enjoyable and fast paced enought. I am sure I will have to listen to it again.
(Interesting enough, Andrea's beast form voice sounds like Hera (or is it Era?) from the forth book).
The sad part is the fact that the novella is not included in this version. I hope it will be available somewhere in electronic form.
Imperfect sword is the thrid installment in the spin off series of The Lost Fleet and even if it's a spin off, the events of this book occurs in parrallel to the events in Steadfast and so it allows us to see a late section of the other book from a different perspective.
Both Arthur and Gwen gets character development, Morgan get's more of her back-story explained and we have plot twists (usualy forshadowed brilliantly in a previous book if one know where too look).
Finally while this book resolves some of the things brought up previously, there are still story threads running, including the omnious warning sent to both Midway and the Alliance by the Dancers. I look foward to see what's next.
