Built To Last, the defining management study of the 90s, showed how great companies triumph over time and how long-term sustained performance can be engineered into the DNA of an enterprise from the very beginning. But what about companies that are not born with great DNA? How can good companies, mediocre companies, even bad companies achieve enduring greatness?

Would you listen to Good to Great again? Why?

I listented to it on CD a number of years ago and recently aquired it on Audible so I could listen again. Lots of good content and tips for creating a culture on my team.

Is IQ destiny? Not nearly as much as we think. This fascinating and persuasive program argues that our view of human intelligence is far too narrow, ignoring a crucial range of abilities - emotional intelligence - that matter immensely in terms of how we do in life.

Would you consider the audio edition of Emotional Intelligence to be better than the print version?

Certainly it was easier to listen too than to read. While you cannot easily thumb through the audio book, you will be less likely to fall asleep.

Less than half a year ago, Tony and I received a mysterious note from Jared, Simon, and Mallory Grace, three children who have experienced authentic encounters with the beings we call faeries. As hard as it was for us to believe, we came to see that there was no alternative explanation. Now, putting aside personal concerns, we bring their stories to you.
