Yes. I believe the audio experience gives you more of a connection with each character.
The ending was quite a shocker. I was left on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next.
All the character performances of Khristine Hvan are stellar. But my favorite is Grimalkin, the way she portrayed his indifference towards every situation was quite hilarious and I felt it captured exactly the essence of what Grimalkin is (very much a feline). lol
I laughed quite a bit and I did tear up in a few areas, and of course lots of swooning when it came to Ash... oh and surprisingly, Puck too.
Loved this audiobook and I am a huge fan of Khristine Hvan. I plan to purchase more audiobooks with her as the narrator. :) You will not be disappointed in this follow-up!!
Yes I would, the narrator was amazing and brought every new creature Meghan encountered to life.
I was immediately pulled into the magical world that Julie Kagawa has created with this Iron Fey series. I found myself wanting to keep reading and keep discovering all the creatures that lived in the Never-Never.
Khristine breathed life into every creature Meghan encountered, there was always a clear distinction on which character was speaking because of the wonderful narration and repertoire of voices that she brought to this story.
I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I was sad.... I was happy... I was excited... I basically felt every emotion imaginable with this book.
This book reminded me of Alice In Wonderland mixed with The Chronicles of Narnia. I loved this book and recommend it to anyone that loves a good faerie novel. Pick up this audiobook and let your imagination soar. On a sidenote, I must say that Khristine Hvam does an amazing thing with narrating this book. The audiobook was fantastic! One of the best I have heard thus far.
