The Vampire Archives is the biggest, hungriest, undeadliest collection of vampire stories, as well as the most comprehensive bibliography of vampire fiction ever assembled. Dark, stormy, and delicious, once it sinks its teeth into you there’s no escape.

What would have made The Vampire Archives better?

Not all writers are equal. This is where a compilation such as this fails. I would listen to a great story and then here a mediocre one, two or three boring stories where the narrator would just drone on and on.

Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?

    Some of them for sure!

    Any additional comments?

I was looking for a lot of Vampire stuff to listen to. The issue is not all the stories are all that interesting. Save your credits on this one.

Here on Earth, Danny North is still in high school, yet he holds in his heart and mind all the stolen outselves of 13 centuries of gatemages. The Families still want to kill him if they can’t control him - and they can’t control him; he is far too powerful. On Westil, Wad is now nearly powerless - he lost everything to Danny in their struggle. Even if he can survive the revenge of his enemies, he must still somehow make peace with the Gatemage Daniel North, for when Danny took that power from Loki, he also took responsibility for the Great Gates.

If you could sum up The Gate Thief in three words, what would they be?

    Time travel
    Religion
    Teenaged angst

    I know these aren't 3 words.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

How the story began to weave in ancient religions into the fabric of the story and how it made perfect sense to do so!

    Which scene was your favorite?

I cannot tell you but it is near the end!

    Any additional comments?

    Another Orson Scott Card hit!

Young Nicholas Hook is dogged by a curse, haunted by what he has failed to do and banished for what he has done. A wanted man in England, he is driven to fight as a mercenary archer in France, where he finds two things he can love: his instincts as a fighting man, and a girl in trouble. Together they survive the notorious massacre at Soissons, an event that shocks all Christendom. With no options left, Hook heads home to England, where his capture means certain death.

What did you love best about Agincourt?

the narration was amazing! More importantly the story itself was great and left you on the edge of your headphones

What was one of the most memorable moments of Agincourt?

Wow there were many but my favorite were when the archers were laying waste to the French line!

Have you listened to any of Charles Keating’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. But I have sought him out just because of this performance

    Any additional comments?

You won't be disappointed in this book if you like historical fiction!
