"Wonderful"
Although this series of books aren't really mysteries, they are all enjoyable reads. This book is weaker than some of the others, and I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series with "No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency", but if you liked the other books by this author, you will likely enjoy this one as well. The narration is first-rate (an important quality, in my opinion--a bad narrator can ruin a good book), and the characters are quite endearing. This is a good book if you're looking for a light, entertaining, and well-written story.
"Still Can't Manage To Finish It..."
A previous reviewer said this book starts off slow, but is worth reading. Although I normally enjoy history and biography, I found this book so boring that I stopped midway through the Alexander Hamilton portion and have had no desire to hear any more of it--unusual, because I almost always finish a book once I start it. The narration is good, and there are interesting bits, but once it bogged down, it's hard for me to work up any enthusiasm about finishing it.
"Informative and well narrated"
Kept me interested, despite the length of the book. I didn't know much about Truman before listening to this book; I feel that I learned a lot and the narrative never dragged or seemed boring to me.
