I really enjoyed this book. Well developed characters, funny & endearing. At a time where women were owned & treated as property the writer sprinkles the 13th century men with a bit of modernity. It was one of those books you can't stop listening to and you hate when it ends.

As usual the ride with Stephanie is a hoot. No matter how ridiculous or how many cars Stephanie detroys I still find myself laughing out loud. We learn, still more, about Ranger and Tank in this book. As usual, Evanovich is flirting with the male ego's by allowing the relationship with Ranger to continue while Joe is still, very much, in the picture. The million dollar question, does Stephanie choose Mr. family man Joe or Ranger danger, the guy that 's not family man material???
Interesting that Joe is now seeing Stephanie as a woman capable of taking care of herself. Even more interesting who Stephanie called first at the end. This is why the Plumb series is so much fun. Keep'em coming Ms. Evanovich we love it all!!!

I loved this book. It was so enjoyable I couldn't stop listening. Georgette Heyer has such great vivid characters with lines that are so quotable. This book is a must.

I seem to always be surprised by Crichton’s approach in writing styles; they never seem to be the same. In Next the future of genetics promises to be interesting in many ways and that’s why Crichton’s book is a worthwhile listen. Crichton couples serious subject matter with the ridiculous so I found myself laughing out loud at the predicaments the many characters got themselves into. I have to admit that it took me some time to realize that Crichton was using many scenarios that were not linked to one another so it ended up being more like a chapter book, but enjoyable nonetheless. The narrator was hilarious when he impersonated Robin Leach to make absurd proclamations by the scientific community. I can understand how some thought there was no plot but they may have missed Crichton’s intent to show genetics from the many legal and scientific dilemmas we may be facing while still trying to make the book readable. Knowing this in advance is helpful.

Act of Treason was easy to get into and fast became a listen that I couldn't put down.
Mitch Rapp, the Maverick CIA agent, catches the bad guy who blew up the motorcade of a Presidential candidate. The Politico's of the time want to try the bomber in the US court system. This is a glimpse into a world of, what if we let the Terrorists use our courts?
It's thought provoking with non-stop action which makes for a fun listen all the way.

If you are an Evanovich fan, which I am, this is a typical story line from her earlier writings. The price makes the read worth it and the story makes the time on the treadmill a bit more tolerable.

I would have given this book five stars but, I did hear the annoying, even disturbing, stomach and guttural sounds the reader had going on and will scrutinize future reads by him before purchasing. However, once able to tune those irritations out the book is a great listen. Fast paced plot with fun evolving characters and surprising heroes. Don?t let the politico?s that rated this book deter you from another Chrichton winner. A bonus from the author, not only does he give you a great story line, but he manages to cause you to think about what we really know of the Eco World. Any book that has me asking questions and wanting more is a winner in my mind.

This is the third book I have read of Coulter's and still have yet to be disappointed. Obviously, if you?re liberal you fail to see the humor that Ann packs when she slams liberals where it hurts, there brain. With the war on terror this book is a great read. You get to review all the stupidity that drips from a people that have no core values. A people that cannot define the word terrorist, because in their mind, "one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter." If this is the world of convoluted minutia that you reside in than you need to read this book. If you think like I do, that a terrorist is anyone who takes the life of an innocent then this book helps you see through the wacko world of the liberal left that has made up down and down up. A world littered with misplaced mercy whose ideas need to be defeated for the treachery of the human spirit they are.
