As a sci-fi fan of many years I found this book to be very enjoyable, easy to follow in the audio format, and an excellent story. I plan to get all four in the series.

This is one of the best rock rat/asteroid war books. Bova has spun quite an interesting and intertwined solar system series. It is an investment in time to listen to all the books, but with such a rich set of characters and events to pull from, Bova keeps you wanting to hear more about your favorite characters with each book. The readers all did an excellent job on this book and made the story even better with their performances.

Not sure why this book is listed as costing 2 credits. Certainly not worth the double price. This book was about as good as the first in the series. The whole off-the-grid-omnipresent-bad-guys plot is a little tiresome, but Scott Brick at least makes even a mediocre book listenable. Any present-day story with any "quantum" computers make me want to gag, but at least the "quantum" computer stayed offline for this story.

The story was fairly interesting, but a bit illogical in spots - the characters seemed to act in ways that I would not think followed from the events they were presented with. One thing I did learn from the book is that if you plan to go off the beaten track in Mexico it would be best to take a sat-phone with you.

I've listened to all the Stephanie Plum books available on Audible and thouroughly enjoyed this one. Each of the characters continue to grow as we learn more about them. Please keep them coming Janet.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept my interest and had great character depth. Inspiring and wonderful reading that was very enjoyable from beginning to end. Not a book that takes several chapters to get into. From the very beginning I found myself not wanting to put down my headphones.

Continues the adventures of Petra and Bean along with closure to the Hegemon story. Excellent performance by all the voices. Leaves the door open to more stories.

Enjoyed every minute of this book. Each of Tom's characters in this book are interesting and represent significant aspects of the typical campus scene. I thought the narrator did an excellent job with all the voices and accents. The narration added much more depth to the story. You'll wish for a sequel.

Lots of insight into how the ultra-left thinks and operates. The book has a bit more background material interspersed than most due to the complexity of the subject matter, but it doesn't detract from the flow of the story. Some of the characters are drawn from the more obnoxious lefty celebrities that have latched onto the environmental movement as a way to keep their name in the press. Nice resolution for the "Martin Sheen" character.

Enjoyed this one also. Decided to get the rest of the series in paperback. Now that I'm hooked on the Skolian story I just can't wait for Audible to trickle the books out.

Anna Fields' male voices weren't as bad as usual, but I wish she would not use the nasal teenage-boy voice for the main characters. Makes it difficult to take what they say seriously.

Haven't read/heard any other books by JCO, so this was an experiment. The male voices were so bad, that I think some fairly serious characters sounded more like morons. Like most lefty books, the Love Canal issue is presented as a problem which should have been obvious from the beginning to even a child. If you read the facts of the land donation, building of the school, and various other entities involved, it seems more murky. Obviously the pollution problem was real, but the massive conspiracy theory at the hands of the usual suspects (corrupt politicians, corporations, and Republicans) wears a little thin.
