In her highly anticipated new book, brassy and beloved medium Theresa Caputo, star of the hit television show Long Island Medium, opens the door to her world and invites us to experience her exceptional gift of communicating with those who've crossed over to The Other Side. Combining Theresa's personal story, compelling anecdotes, and client readings, this remarkable book teaches us about Spirit and helps us understand the life-affirming messages that are sent to us every day.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I listen to more than three books per week. As a distance runner, it's just me, my books and the road ahead. I love Theresa and her miraculous gift, but this book is tired, flat and drones on and on. She is a huge personality but not an author. I couldn't even finish this book it is so bad. Given, maybe the content improves toward the end, but I can't suffer it.

Did Theresa Caputo do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The book lacks direction and bounces around too much. Sad, as I anticipated its release for months.

B.J. Novak's One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories is an endlessly entertaining, surprisingly sensitive, and startlingly original debut that signals the arrival of a brilliant new voice in American fiction. A boy wins a $100,000 prize in a box of Frosted Flakes - only to discover how claiming the winnings might unravel his family. A woman sets out to seduce motivational speaker Tony Robbins - turning for help to the famed motivator himself. A new arrival in Heaven, overwhelmed with options, procrastinates over a long-ago promise to visit his grandmother....

    "Hoped for witty. Received less."

Is there anything you would change about this book?

These are not witty vignettes but pretentious random thoughts wrapped in one liners. Disappointed. Cannot recommend, sadly.

Serial killers: They cross the bounds of evil. They murder at random without logic or reason other than the one twisting in their sick and evil minds. They are diabolical, vile creatures devoid of morality or pity. You will meet a chosen few of them in this audiobook. We will see that serial killers are roaming among us all, from small towns to big cities. They are not limited to a particular place, gene pool, culture, social class, or religion. They are not restricted to any particular demographic or political propensity and they can be of any gender.

What disappointed you about Serial Killers True Crime Anthology 2014?

This may be a great book in print, but this audio version is terrible! The narrator marks errors directly to the narrative, but it's not edited out. He fumbles over words and it's just a mess. Terrible!
