When I first read this book it had a different title and author. It was 1943 by Newt Gingrich. I have compared the two books side by side they are identical. But be that as it may, the story is interesting but a little farfetched. The technology of the Lizards is too primitive; they have starships capable of launching an interstellar invasion but only have 1990’s weapons systems (jets, tanks, artillery etc). But I still enjoy the story and would recommend it to others
It's about the same. I read the book when it first came out(still have it) and have still enjoyed ti.
a lot of the science fiction of the era when it was written have the same optimism
nothing really he just does not spoil it
no not really
this was just as good as the others in ther series
I listen going to and from work
flowing, enjoyable, satisfying minimum 15 words??????? and they only ask for three words!
the other HALO books
it was OK
all of them
all of them
since I listen when driving to work(a two hour commute) the longer the better
The only problem with the series is that they released the books slowly and out of order. The story itself is good and understandable if a little live the roman empire in space. But in the space opera genre it is at the top of it's form.
the sten character Has the right amount of humanity for the hero type.
not much but then I have a great imagination and most of the voice actors do OK but some really suck (Jerry is not one of the the ones that suck)
all the books in the series 1,2,3 are unabridged then comes this then the next one is back to unabridged. this really sucks!!!!!!!!!
it is abridged!!!!!!!!!!
I said enough!
