"My favorite book of all time, but not this one."
No.
I've loved this story since I read it years ago.
I think the narrator did a good job as Jane, but I tired of her "Mr. Rochester". Her interpretation I felt was too intense and angry most of the time. Also, I had to continually turn up the volume so I could hear the narration and her interpretation of Jane, but then had to turn it way down when Mr. Rochester was speaking or risk losing my hearing. Also there seemed to be skips whenever or deletions that weren't corrected for the final release.

I have loved this story for a very long time, but felt this interpretation didn't do the story justice. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.
"Terrible narration."
The narration was horrible. The narrator sounds like he has emphysema. He's frequently wheezy and short of breath. The narration also repeats. Reminded me of listening to an old record that was skipping.
The story might have been interesting if the narration had been better.
Someone with a much stronger voice and healthier set of lungs.
couldn't get that far into it... I think the story could have been good, but I couldn't get past the problems.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Maybe I should watch it on HBO instead.
