"Hard to stop listening."
This story twisted and turned and kept me engaged. Occasionally I needed to stop listening and take care of things but I didn't want to.
"Would be nice if I could understand the narrator!"
The narrator ruins this. She starts in on the southern accents slurring the words and sentencing and speaking them so fast that I often had to rewind and replay to figure out what she was saying. That was awful. Very distracting.
"Boring...."
I had a hard time getting through the story because the narration is just boring, flat, no real emotion. It's a good book to listen to if you want to go to sleep. It just drones on and on. I didn't finish it.
"A little slow but a nice story."
I found that I drifted off from the story occasionally as it moved a little slow. It didn't seem like I missed much in doing so though. The story was pleasant and sort of cute with the ghost.
"A little slow."
Moved a little slow for me. It was a pleasant story but I just drifted away from time to time.
"A fun read."
This was really funny. At first I wasn't so sure but as it continued on I did find it to provide an entertaining few hours.
"Too funny!!!"
This book caused me to waste so much time this weekend because I couldn't stop listening to it and had a hard time focusing on anything while I was listening. It was so funny I found myself laughing at loud, often. It was great because it was not predictable and a uniquely different story. Narrator was great too.
"Gotta love those Creeds"
Always good to catch a Linda Lael Miller story. The Creed family stories leave you looking forward to another. I think that she's run out of Creed men to write about and that's sort of sad.
"Pleasant story and nice listen."
Yes, it is a sweet story and I felt like I knew the family before it was over. I wanted more.
Yes. Very much.
This is a great series. It was a feel good story that kept me engaged. Not sappy and too romantic, just the right amount of all of the ingredients to make for a good listen/read.
"Kept me engaged - not as good as Rohan though."
Curiosity killed the?
Sebastion of course. He just couldn't help himself to do the right thing. He so wanted to remain a bad guy but just really wasn't that person.
I laughed at times that should probably have not been funny.
The run from the bad guys part went on a little longer than I had patience for but I never was one for the chase scenes or on the run scenes in movies. Not unless there is more substance between the characters who are on the run with more moments of interest within them.
"Love this family."
I enjoy the Rohan family stories. The Rohan's (both husbands/wives/heroine's) are fabulously fun personalities. I did find myself laughing out loud in a few places.
The tiny gun - too funny.
She's always pleasant to listen to.
A devilish affair.
Not one of the best in the series but definitely a nice escape and fun listen. Looking forward to the next one. Keep them coming Anne.
