    This is Susie Bright?

I have to admit - Susie Bright story collections are one of my favorite dark secrets. The stories are so varied, so non-typically, as intriguing as they are titillating, that even if I find a story I don't like, it's bound to be followed by several I do.

This interview, though, has me scratching my head in confusion. The interview is a couple of women laughing about and mocking a style of living that is different than either of them would choose now, even though one of the women did live that way for some time.

Initially, when I learned about the subject of Jillian Lauren's book, I thought it sounded fascinating. If, however, her book has the same attitude as this interview - mocking & ridiculing - I really just don't want it. Also, I'll do a double take before I support Susie Bright again.

Jillian- want to promo your book? Do it by removing this interview!

This interview did exactly what a promo like this should do - it made me interested in Nancy and her writing. I would love to support a young, intelligent author.

Unfortunately, her publisher has put the audiobook at a price point that I wouldn't normally pay for a long story/short novelette.

Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) rocks this mock bedtime story, capturing a hilarious range of emotions as the voice of a father struggling to get his child to sleep. Go the F**k to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland.

What else is there to say? Perfect.

I guess I need to say something else - 15 word min. The book was cracking me up to begin with, and Samuel Jackson's reading totally rounds out the experience. This is a story to keep on your player and come back to regularly.

With his unmistakable characters and signature rhymes, Dr. Seuss's beloved Beginner Book has cemented it's place as a children's classic. Follow Sam I Am as he tries to convince an acquaintance that green eggs and ham is, indeed, a delectable meal to be savored everywhere and every way.

    Story

The story is a childhood favorite of many. The reading is great, the narrator manages to get Sam's companion's frustrations very well. I wouldn't call the reading brilliant, it sounds much like my mother read to me, and like I read to my daughter. It is certainly effective, though.

Like another reviewer, I was disappointed by the lack of images. I know this is an "audiobook", which generally means "audio," but after seeing a couple other books with the enhanced format and images, I expected something similar from this one. The illustrations are a big part of what makes classic Dr. Seuss classic.

Generally good, but if you are playing this for the entertainment of a young one, I highly recommend putting a paper copy of the book in front of the child to include illustrations.

It made me think a little of a radio morning show. A few people sitting in a room, talking about whatever, and sometimes it might be funny.

This was the first thing that made me ask, "Is there an option to delete something I don't care for from my library?"

I listened to this on my mobile phone in the audible ap, and saw out of the corner of my eye, that the picture kept changing to match the story. The description does say that it is an enhanced audio format, but I didn't realize that, until I realized the pictures went along with the story.

Also, it was just over 2 minutes long, the details say 1 minute.

    Overall, a pleasant surprise.

"The Breathing Method", from Stephen King's bestselling collecton Different Seasons, takes place in an exclusive gentlemen's club in New York, where no one pays any dues. Membership is based upon a telling of tales, and one nightmarish tale about a disgraced woman determined to give birth - not matter the consequences - pays for them all.

Where does The Breathing Method rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    One of the best.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.

    Any additional comments?

Stephen King can get drawn out, he is very wordy at times. This shorter format, however, is absolutely perfect. He has a great imagination, producing interesting stories and characters. Without having the room to get overly detailed, The Breathing Method is about as good as it gets! Highly recommended.
