I spend about four hours per day on the road. Audio books make my commute go by much faster and make it somewhat enjoyable.

This was the first book I've purchased by Sidney Sheldon. This particular book was recommended by my mother who is a big Sidney Sheldon fan. I was very impressed and plan to check out more of this author's work in the future.

In the middle of the Indian Ocean, a NUMA research vessel is taking water samples at sunset, when a crew member spots a sheen of black oil ahead of them. But it is not oil. Like a horde of army ants, a swarm of black particles suddenly attacks the ship, killing everyone aboard, while the ship itself goes up in flames. A few hours later, Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala are on their way to the Indian Ocean. What they will find there will eventually lead them to the discovery of the most audacious scheme they have ever known....

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

This is a long book and the story drags on unnecessarily at times. Other than that, it was pretty good. The narrator is amazing. It's hard to believe that it's just one person.

This Audio Bible is a great listen and the performances by the narrators are fantastic. The only thing that I don't like is the layout of the chapters. There is no way to go directly to a certain book of the Bible. I would have preferred the downloadable parts to be divided into one or two books each.
If I want to go to the book of John, for example, I have to take a guess what parts contains the book of John and then skim through the audio until I recognize some verses.

A storm struck on the night Laura Shane was born, and there was a strangeness about the weather that people would remember for years. But even more mysterious was the blond-haired stranger who appeared out of nowhere - the man who saved Laura from a fatal delivery. Years later - after another bolt of lightning - the stranger returned.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend two credits on one audio book, but I'm glad that I decided to go for it. The narrator did a fantastic job.
