Here is a dazzling intellectual inquiry into the nature of truth and the relationship between art and science. In this technology-driven age, it's tempting to believe that science can solve every mystery. After all, science has cured countless diseases and even sent humans into space. But as Jonah Lehrer argues in this sparkling and original book, science is not the only path to knowledge.

    "Narrator ruins the book"
    Overall

The narrator is a barrier to enjoying this book. His rhythm is irritating--sounds like he's giving a 6pm news cast--and his pronunciation is embarrassing. A book that uses so much French and many biological terms should be read by someone who doesn't butcher the pronunciation as this narrator does. It's a good book, but I would read the hard copy and find another audio book.
