"Fast paced...could not wait for next chapter"
Grabbed interest from start to end
Stands alone with story line,
Before the end when the characters were hiding in the tree with the gators were in the water. Just waiting to see if they could manage to evade capture.
Trust, deceit and lies. Who is the enemy- who is your friend
Great listen. Hard to take a break
"Entertainment"
Yes. Quirky and fast paced
Gran. Full of acid and spice.
Lots of life !!!!! Painted a picture of all characters
Both.
Great listen. Well narrated. Very visual to the mind. 10/10
"Hard to get into"
The story lost me after chapter one.
Seemed all over the place listened to,three chapters and gave up.
Narration not the best
No
Her books generally read better, but this one did not translate to audible at all. Quite a disappointment to say the least.
"A little gem"
Yes. Lots of appeal Great to have a novel with all the bells and whistles
All came together amazingly well. The scene with the dam towards the end highly emotionally charged. One could feel the scene and the despair.
Took a while to get used to the not so good"australian" accent, but once over the changeable Accent. I was thoroughly absorbed in the great story line.
Both laughed and cried, author has a way of drawing in the reader as if you are a part of what is happening.
Great find a new Australian author. Looking forwards to more from her. Best to have an Australian do reading so the flavour of the story comes through. Well done Darcy Daniel.Looking forwards to more good listens/reads.
"Madness and mayhem"
Fun, hysterical , believable
Series is great so to have the ladies involved in more intrigues together is a bonus
Both ladies fitted their characters perfectly. Could not choose between them
Laughter is the best medicine and there is certainly plenty to go around with this listen.
Great to listen to by oneself and to share with a friend
"Great listen"
Great listen. Well presented. Enjoyed from start to finish
Have read the book. Bought so I could listen whilst travelling. Good emotion with the narrating. Sometimes listening can heighten the impact of reading
