It's constant movement forward. and not too many lead characters to keep up with .. well defined way of rendering each character.. good voice renderings..
Reacher of course. I purchased it for that reason..
well thats hard to say. I enjoy reading too. I like the feel of the book in my hand.. they BOTH have their own perks.. listening and reading both. Sorry can't really comment on that.
I prefer Reacher when he is not romantic.. lol.I like him more as a soldier than a lover.. but it does add some variety to the theme..
I am a great fan of the Harry Botch series and Connolly's recommendation of this writer made me explore this book. It is amazingly intense and kept me up most of the night.. wow. It is fairly sexually graphic not explicitly but it does add to the energy of the book in a positive way..
Harry Botch and Sherlock Holmes I enjoy the avid mind and the power of the writer who includes feelings and descriptions in their work.. as a part of a prolific back drop to their writing .. all three of them too this in a way that does not bore me.. but moves the story along.
The power of the rasping yet sexy voice. lol. The character innuendos and the renditions of his personal energy.. and power.
Where stillness lies.
I am so happy to find this series. I love the study of characters and the way it is so intensely woven. IT is a work of art. to be read and re-read
No. Both are good :)
I would use less characters. and more movement of the story to be based more on intrigue. It read well. But it was more about mundane characters and events rather than an old plan that had gone down years ago.. somehow the story i felt was not one of his better one's
Oh he is amazing.. I love the way he emulates the females voices.... all parts of it was superb !!!
Waiting to surface ...
I love his books . and the Irish influence it has. Truly fascinating work.
The Narrator was great loved his voicing and personalities ..
All of it..
He is great at almost all.. Its really hard to chose.
Kept me on my toes.. not laughing or crying just engaged..
Just rambled on and on.. not true plot .. just ebbed and flowed... I liked the narration.. this is the first book I have listened to by this author. On some levels he was good. But it just was too dragging. could not keep my interest for the story line. Not a impressive plot..
Harry Borsch.. For Sure. LOVE the character.. fast moving Great plots.. no rambles.. lol.
Liked his voice. Great impersonations of the female over tones.
i really don't think so..
Just the ebb and flow of the story ..
Yes it did very much so
I like reading too.. so .. sorry I can't comment on this one..
not extreme.. just a great listen.. but then i work on moderating my reactions.. lol. so I am not the best judge of that.. but a great listen.. for sure..
Growing in grace.
Dr. Wayne and God .. both are one. in this case lol
I cant agree. Both have their own energy so that is not a true statement.
all of them
Thank you Dr. Your kindness bring tears to my heart. Blessings to you on your teaching journey.
Yes... the voice of the partner who was bed ridden. It is is AWFUL. I hated listing to it. One could do a better job of getting a voice that is going through a hard time.... I could not focus at all. The rest is great. well written and presented.
Moving strong and intellectually fun.
Harry of course.
Cant comment on this one.
Please use good voices. for all characters. a half raspy voice is NOT attractive.... SORRY ! BAD CHOICE.....
Yes. Keeps me on my toes. just maybe after a couple years when I don't remember it as much. It's always good to revisit a good book.
Thats really hard to say.. all of it.. lol.
The powerful protagonist.. of course.
A Plot, Less history lessons, Better movement of story...
ONLY his earlier books. NOT the ones he writes now.
Ok. Not Great !
Most of the supporting endless stream of characters
I was so unimpressed with this book. I could ONLy listen to half of it... such a waste of time..
Not sure I have not read the print. I think they both have a great energy and can not be compared in such a way.
All the twist and the turns.. too many to note. I don't want to spoil things for the reader.
All of them
"Guess What !"
This is my first book by Beaver . I enjoyed it very much. Look forward to listening to a few more.
