Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.... As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life....

Sometimes it seems we just can't get what we want. Circumstances thwart our best-laid plans. We struggle to live a heartfelt life. Worst of all, says Eldredge, the modern church mistakenly teaches its people to kill desire (calling it sin) and replace it with duty or obligation (calling it sanctification).

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

Yes, I would listen to Fifty Shades Darker again because it is a very captivating and well-read story!

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

Becca did an awesome job portraying each character with a voice that made it easy to visualize what was being read rather than the actual words being read.

    Any additional comments?

I have listened to the trilogy, and all three were great and well read!
