In this magical story from the ever-popular Treebob series, Rotten Rena, the wicked witch of the enchanted forest, comes up with yet another mad scheme involving one of her very own magical potions. Of course since Rotten Rena isn't the cleverest of witches it all goes wrong with hilarious results! Of course its up to the Treebobs to rescue her.

What made the experience of listening to The Treebobs Rescue Rotten Rena the most enjoyable?

The children kept interested because they wanted to know how Rotten Rena's problem could be solved. They particularly loved the squabbling between the two witches and thought it was very funny

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Treebobs are lovely but the two witches Rotten Rena and Badlot Barbara "steal the show"

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Definitely

    Any additional comments?

It was so absorbing. It would be lovely to have some "Treebob" themed toys. I've already been asked for a flying pip!!! Unfortunately for now it looks like it's down to egg boxes and sticky backed plastic

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Treebobs and the Giant Mole?

The song was very very catchy and we found ourselves humming the tune a long time afterwards

Have you listened to any of Lindsay Abbott’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is a very good narrator and this is up to her usual high standard

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A brilliant example of how the coming together of the smallest people can solve a problem caused by an enormous nuisance!

    Any additional comments?

This was a lovely story. I love the way this author conjurs together humour and strife and brings it all to a very satisfactory outcome for everyone

Pure Christmas magic in the enchanting world of the Treebobs. When Father Christmas arrives to begin his journey across the world on Christmas Eve, Rotten Rena the wicked witch is waiting for a present and she is not at all pleased when she does not get one. In true Rotten Rena style she casts one of her wicked spells to ruin Christmas for the World. However the Treebob Queen with the very best of the Treebob air force, the "Royal Air Bobs", use the pure magic of Christmas to make sure that Father Christmas does indeed get to fly his sleigh that Christmas eve.

If you could sum up The Treebobs Save Christmas in three words, what would they be?

    Enchanting, Morally educational

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made us laugh and want to hear more

    Any additional comments?

This is the perfect book for Christmas. We like tales that have a moral feel to them. It was humorous and enchanting. The children were attentive throughout and want to hear more stories about the people in the forest.
