I really liked the first two in this series. The conclusion was less than satisfying. Still, an enjoyable "read"
Okay, the story MIGHT seem a little far fetched...but the story line and the characters are always so believable. I could not wait to finish, but was very sad when I did. This sadness was due to a couple of reasons, which i won't be a spoiler to tell. I could see myself listening to this book again in a year or so..it was that good
This book had the potential of being a great one, but it just never happened. I went on and on and about all of what had happened instead of as it happened.
All the different countries and their spin on it...but none of it seemed real or even very thought provoking. And i love end of the world, zombie, mystery thrillers. Even the many voices of celebrity readers did not improve the way the story was told. I am anxious to see the movie, but based on the book, i will more than likely wait for the DVD
I enjoyed the book, although I am certain if I spoke German, or was more familiar with the German names, I might have given it 5 stars all around. It was a good story that kept my attention though out.
This audio book kept me on the edge of my seat. I was fascinated by the concept, and just a little bit frightened of the plausibility.
This audio book trilogy had me riveted and spellbound from the very first chapter until the end. Vampires ruling the world...and a few brave souls determined not to let that happen. The character development is first rate and the performance was impeccable. i could not put it out of my mind..
This is a great book. I love all of Michael Connelly, and this one did not disappoint. A few predictable twists, but good story line and great ending.
