While on the campaign trail, Elizabeth Edwards met many others who have had to contend with serious adversity in their lives, and in Resilience, she draws on their experiences as well as her own, crafting an unsentimental and ultimately inspirational meditation on the gifts we can find among life's biggest challenges.

This is Jon Kabat-Zinn's most comprehensive audio program on mindfulness. It combines gentle guidance with conversational narratives weaving together science, poetry, and the art of living - all in the service of deepening your appreciation of the "workability" of the present moment, no matter how hard or challenging your circumstances. This moment, when held in awareness with gentleness and self-compassion, has the potential for catalyzing, healing, and transforming your life. Mindfulness meditation is both a discipline and an adventure.

Rick says: "Most complete yet concise audiobook on mindfulness"

A practical approach to Zen Buddhism applicable to daily life. It is a condensed version of his books and the author’s voice is in-keeping with the message. But even though I really appreciate the author and I never get tired of reading or listening to his books, it would have been nice not to have to listen twice to chapters 8 and 9 (duplicated in 10 and 11).

In what may be her most unsettling novel to date, Sue Grafton's T Is for Trespass is also her most direct confrontation with the forces of evil. Beginning slowly with the day-to-day life of a private eye, Grafton suddenly shifts from the voice of Kinsey Millhone to that of Solana Rojas, introducing listeners to a chilling sociopath. Rojas is not her birth name. It is an identity she cunningly stole, an identity that gives her access to private caregiving jobs.

Brian says: "Not much of a thriller!"
    "T for trepass"

For this I would like to get my money back, I have read all of her books from A to T but this one I could not even finish, it was rambling about nothing, no suspense! Look like the author had to write a book!

Thirty-four years ago, Violet Sullivan put on her party finery and left for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display. She was never seen again. In the small California town of Serena Station, tongues wagged. Some said she'd run off with a lover. Some said she was murdered by her husband.

    Jeanne says: "A Good Read"

    Overall

I have read every one of Sue Grafton's books and this was the best so far
