This series has blown up in a way that isn't surprising...the idea is sexy, and bright...the delivery of the story is extremely simple and remarkable only in that it could really have been brilliant if it had been written by someone with talent...Like Diana Gabaldon maybe? The narration by Becca Battoe might have been the worst mistake-she sounds like an idiot.. reading awful dialog. OK, so-the author is clearly a novice, and the book was written as fan mail for the Twilight series, and it follows so closely I am surprised that Stephanie Meyer doesn't get some kind of kick back for providing the entire sub plot... Again, I really like the basis of the story, I am really disappointed in the final product. This book is a prime example of what suckers the consumers are. This all was-and should have remained ONE novel, the fact that it was broken into three $30 books so that it could become 4 movies is one that Americans will (hopefully) get wise to, and stop feeding. NOT worth almost $100 - I mean "Holy Moses" folks!
