Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you can stand to listen to this woman the story is very good. But the narrator is so sing-song & ends every sentence with an upward inflection. Almost like a British valley girl.

What didn’t you like about Susan Duerden’s performance?

The narrator ends every sentence as if it a question. There's no period, just a comma.

Was The Rook worth the listening time?

    Yes
