Along the southern coast of England, atop the White Cliffs of Dover, stands a castle. And at that castle's old keep is an orphanage. Delphi Keep has seen many youngsters come and go through its gates, and Ian Wigby and his sister, Theodosia, are happy to call it home. Life has always been simple at the Keep, and the orphanage safe, until one day, Ian and Theo find a silver treasure box. And within the box, a prophesy. Three thousand years ago a great Greek oracle wrote of a quest.

this book is a great adventure! I got it hoping that it was something I could listen to on trips with my 10 and 15 year old without one of them complaining...It fit the bill perfectly! We all loved this book! The writing is discriptive and engaging and the reader does a great job. My only complaint is that the next books aren't on Audible! Whats the deal with that? WHY do the first one and then not the rest!!?? Come on , Audible, lets see the rest!!

Sometimes being the grim reaper really is that. Grim. And since Charley’s last case went so awry, she has taken a couple months off to wallow in the wonders of self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above. Or at least get dressed. She quickly realizes something is amiss when everyone the woman knows swears she’s insane.

ill admit I wasnt expecting too much from this book. I really enjoyed the first 2 but not so much the 3rd. I decided to give the series one more chance and am glad I did. There was much more action and some loose ends ties up as well. The characters seem to finally be evolving whereas in the 3rd book I felt nothing really happened. The main character, Charlie, is smart, funny and almost a little too quick with the come backs. Reyes is hot, sexy and stubborn and I love Charlies best friend..Hoping to see more of the bikers in the next book!

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

I found the reading of the first book a little flat, however this book was MUCH better. Much more emotion in the reading and Luke Daniels seems to become Atticus. The voice and inflection he uses when voicing Oberon is excellent.. The story is even better than the first or maybe Ive just become more involved with the characters. Really enjoy this series and I will be downloading the third one. If you enjoy mythology, a bit of philosophy and some magic you will enjoy this series! Its very smart!

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

i read this book a few months ago and really enjoyed it so i thought id give the audible version a try. I found the reader a little flat but really liked how he voiced Oberon. As the book goes on he does get better. Seems to become more comfortable in the role of Atticus . I enjoyed the story- full of mythology and alot of fun. I have already downloaded the second book.

Miranda Puckett has failed at every job she’s ever had. Her mother just wants her to come home, join the family law firm, and settle down with Jason, the perfect lawyer boyfriend. But when Jason turns out to be a lying cheater, Miranda seizes on a job that gets her out of town: long-distance vampire transportation. Her first assignment is to drive vampire Collin Sutherland from Washington to sleepy Half Moon Hollow without incident—no small feat for a woman whom trouble seems to follow like a faithful hound dog!

This was the perfect book to listen to when i was in the mood for something light. It is well written and Amanda Ronconi reads it perfectly. The Jane Jameson series by this author is a great series too. There are overlapping characters and situations between the books which I really liked. The main character in this book is interesting, in an ADD kind of way and is a perfect foil to "Mr.Dead". I thought I was the only one who got into stupid and unbeliveable situations like those in the book- minus the vampire, of course...I dont feel so alone anymore!! LOL!!

"We're the D'Artigo sisters: sexy, savvy operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But being half-human, half-Fae short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah is a Were who turns into a golden tabby when she's stressed. And Menolly's a vampire who's still trying to get the hang of being undead. As for me, I'm Camille D'Artigo, a wicked-good witch who's learning death magic with my youkai-kitsune husband."

    Overall

Love, love, LOVE these books! Cant wait for the next one! Interesting well rounded characters with some very interesting lives ( 2 "supernatural" husbands anyone?) Every book in the series is written from the perspective of one of the 3 sisters- which is cool in itself as you get different perspectives of the same situations and insights into each sisters life. You really need to start with the first book "Witchling" though to follow the whole story...
