Love to listen to books in the car it makes my commute so much better. The books I tend to listen to while I am driving are ones that are purely for entertainment.

Since the introduction of dietary guidelines calling for reduced fat intake in the 1970s, a strange phenomenon has occurred: Americans have steadily, inexorably become heavier, less healthy, and more prone to diabetes than ever before. After putting more than two thousand of his at-risk patients on a wheat-free regimen and seeing extraordinary results, cardiologist William Davis has come to the disturbing conclusion that it is not fat, not sugar, not our sedentary lifestyle that is causing America’s obesity epidemic—it is wheat.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wheat Belly to be better than the print version?

This was a great book and had some wonderful insight in it, enough science to seem real, and some very good tongue in cheek humor... bravo! I have been working on recreating my diet with the help of this book and have been successful in losing 10 lbs in a month without restricting food except for wheat and the grains that Dr. Davis recommends. It is worth spending the credit.

A reluctant voyager crossing the Pacific in 1850; a disinherited composer blagging a precarious livelihood in between-the-wars Belgium; a high-minded journalist in Governor Reagan's California; a vanity publisher fleeing his gangland creditors; a genetically modified "dinery server" on death-row; and Zachry, a young Pacific Islander witnessing the nightfall of science and civilisation: the narrators of Cloud Atlas hear each other's echoes down the corridor of history.

Would you listen to Cloud Atlas again? Why?

Yes, it was so engaging and kept me fully engaged the entire time I listened to it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Zack, I loved the use of language for this character and the challenges he faced with Ol' Georgie. I also found the section of the book with Son Mi it was very interesting and engaging. The truth is I loved all the characters!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved when all of the elders broke out of the home... it was really adrenaline pumping for me as they broke through the gate to make it to freedom.

    Any additional comments?

This is a must listen to book before you watch the movie which was also spectacular.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What made the experience of listening to The Hunger Games the most enjoyable?

I am on the third book of this series and I have to admit that they are my guilty pleasure after a long day of work. The world that surrounds the Hunger Games is just depressing, however, what makes it all that different from our own world... The reality comes through that any government is not beyond utilizing its citizens as pawns on a daily basis. Carolyn McCormick is a great reader and love her ability to create voices that truly differentiate and engage. If I were to be critical about anything is the use by the author of the

Now at last Keith Richards pauses to tell his story in the most anticipated autobiography in decades. And what a story! Listening obsessively to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records in a coldwater flat with Mick Jagger and Brian Jones, building a sound and a band out of music they loved. Finding fame and success as a bad-boy band, only to find themselves challenged by authorities everywhere....

What compelled me to listen to this book was the fact that Johnny Depp read part of it and he does not disappoint... What did disappoint me is Richards use of the word
