The narrator has so much impact on the books I listen to and this one was very monotone and extremely boring to listen to. Authors please take note*****A Narrator can make or Break a Good Story***!! I am sure this was a very good book but I could not get through even half of the first chapter.
I had been waiting for awhile for Ripped to come out on Audible and it was worth the wait. I loved the story between McKenna & Pandora. I think Katy Evans is an excellent writer and I hope she comes out with another book in "The Real Series". It's hard to write a review without giving up too much of the story, but I am glad McKenna didn't have one of those times where he hooked up with another girl while Pandora was around. That happens a lot in some of the best romance stories that it takes down the sincerity and happiness of the story. I wish the book was a little longer but I am still glad I got to hear the love story between McKenna & Pandora. I would recommend it to others, but you really need to read/listen to the other books in The Real Series first.
This was a good book and it did keep me intrigued with all the drama, so much so that I stayed up all night long to finish the 2nd half of it to the end. (So Extremely tired at work now) It is about an abusive boyfriend that is so demeaning and cruel to his girlfriend regardless of how much she gives up for him. I wish Tesse could have made a true friend in college that she could depend on and go to for help and advice. I kept hanging in there hoping Hardin would eventually make a drastic change and start treating Tesse with some respect. Does NOT happen which is very disappointing. I could NOT believe the cliffhanger ending and cannot wait until 11/25/14 when the next book comes out. I guess that's why they always leave good stories like they do, I hope that in the second book Harlin gets what he deserves and Tesse learns to get a back bone and she ends up happy with someone else who appreciates and deserves her.
This was my first Susan Hatler book and I am glad I read this book. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the "Save The Date" series. Susan's books remind me a lot of Kelly Elliott's books...clean and cute characters that you love to read about. I liked the advice that Kristen gave the lady in HR about writing down her top 10 reasons to leave or stay at her job or go with her husband. Good Advice!!
I was glad to see Ethan show up at Kristen's birthday party with his boat and WITHOUT bringing another girl with him. I see that happen so many times in other romance stories and I feel it ruins the story. I prefer to see the other person (girl or guy) stay devoted to the other one and to stick things out. The only advice I could give would be to include some sexy scenes in the story. It needs more love and romance in the story,
This story was so depressing I could barely get through it. The only good thing about this purchase was the narrator Sebastian York, he is FANTASTIC!!!
I purchased this book because of the high rating that was listed for it and man was that ever WRONG!!! I had to double check what the category this was listed under and I thought it was listed under Romance, Contemporary, but it was NOT, It is listed under Fiction, Chick lit and I never buy ANY books in that category. Very disappointed. I would have returned it but since it was only $4.71 I chose to keep it. Thank goodness it was a short story.
This had everything I love in a romantic love story. You get to see the couple get together with a few (as usual) obstacles, but the love that builds between Kylie and Zo is so beautiful. The open relationship that Kylie has between her dad is so unbelievable, something that I wish my husband had with our daughters. I know it's only a book, but this one really pulled me in. I took the book everywhere with me and listened to it every free second I had. I haven't even finished the book yet but I wanted to start writing the review while it was fresh I my mind. This is my second book written by Jasinda Wilder And both books have far surpassed my expectations in a romance story. I hope there is more like this coming.
This was a great love story! I am so glad I bought this book. I highly recommend it. There were ups and downs but in the end every thing comes together. There was a part in the story that made me cry, it was very hard to get through it. I don't want to spoil it for you but this part will touch everyone who reads this book. It's going to be hard to top this book, but I hope Rachel Robinson continues her great writing abilities and shares it with all of us.
It's been awhile since I have purchased a really good book that draws me in but "Hard to Love" was one of the rare ones. I normally don't write many reviews on books but I really liked this book. I listened to the whole book in one sitting....needless to say I was up late until 2:30 am, This was a very cute, sexy love story that pulled me in until the end. The only thing bad I can say about this book was it wasn't long enough, I wanted more. I hope the next book I purchase by Kendall Ryan is a little longer. I would recommend this book to everyone and must say it is worth the credit to me.
It just didn't draw me in like I expected it to based on the reviews. Disappointed.
Yes. I believe in giving every author a second chance, so I will read the next book in the installment of "A Hard Ink" to see if it gets better.
It seemed at times the tone of voice was so monotone and boring it was hard to pay attention to.
The love scenes were good but could have been so much more steamier.
Nick should've opened up more in the story.
Yes I would listen to "A Beautiful Idea" again. It was a nice change to actually read about two people falling in love and staying together. No games and backstabbing like many other love stories.
My favorite character was Ryder, you could tell that he really loved Isabelle with all his heart and soul.
Yes Viv. Williams was a great reader, I especially loved the voice of Ryder...it made him seem so much more sexier.
Yes I would've loved to listen to the book in one sitting but between all the family interruptions it was impossible to do so.
This was a nice change of love story to read, no backstabbing or going from one person to another and the two people that were in love actually told each other how they felt. You didn't have to guess when there was going to be a fight or if one person was going to go out with someone else. It's nice to read how the love story begins and ends and you get to hear all about the smexy romantics love scenes the two lovers have. Kudos to Emily McKee I can't wait to read the next book "A beautiful Mess". I hope it's just as good.
