I would recommend it to most anyone. It is disappointing however that it misleads, the first name on the list of who it is narrated by is Willie himself which got me jazzed, however he only reads the introduction and a bit at the end. I own the hard copy of the book and thought it would be nice to listen to Willie read his book (even though I generally dislike most authors reading their own material I make exceptions for professional performers), it is very amusing after all, but I would not have wasted the money had I known he had such a small role in its narration.
Great book, disappointing misrepresentation however!
I am not sure if it was by design or by chance, but Wil Wheaton as a cameo character and being the Narrator is great fun! this book satisfies my inner geek as well as my nostalgic heart!
This book is a great story by a great author. Bill Willingham can tie words together, weaving a tale that will leave you enchanted.
The performance made me go out and buy the physical book.
I couldn't handle the narration. Dick Hill can do some amazing voice work but I think William Shatner might have made a parody of him when he came up with his patented pause and speak rhythms.
The book is great, I have read a lot of reviews and own a hard copy of the book itself (which I read when it was first released) but the cast makes this one of the greatest audiobooks of all time!
