L.A. private eye Elvis Cole is hired by popular television star Jodie Taylor to delve into her past and identify the biological parents who gave her up for adoption 36 years before. Cole's assignment is to find out their biological history and report back. It seems all too clear-cut. But when he gets to Louisiana and begins his search, he finds that there's something much darker going on. Other people are also looking for Taylor's parents, and some are ending up dead.

Well it wasn't so dull that I stopped listening but I definitely wouldn't put it on my must listen list. Not particularly memorable.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Don't usually go in for this kind of sci fi/fantasy thing but I loved this book. The characters were interesting, plot very twisty and the performance was excellent.

Clare's Village Blend coffee beans are being used to create a new java love potion: a "Mocha Magic Coffee," billed as an aphrodisiac. The product, expected to rake in millions, will be sold exclusively on Aphrodite's Village, one of the most popular online communities for women. But at its launch, one of the website's editors is murdered. Clare is convinced a bitter killer wants the secret formula. Can she catch who's gone loco for mocha?

I like to listen to audiobooks while doing the housework and this one wasn't apt for much more. I haven't listened to any other books in this series and I'm not sure I would. The almost silly amount of coffee talk made the main characters seem quite shallow, like nothing in the world was more important then the brew!

I had always been vaguely aware of The Steve Jobs story and I was interested to know more details. I found the listen to be very engaging and certainly left no holds barred! It was a nicely rounded biography, both showing elements of Steve that were admirable and also not very flattering. Would definitely recommend it.

I tend to like Kristin Hannah's books although they are always very strung out. This one was a bit painful to read as I thought that a lot of the decisions the main characters made were just dumb. Also seemed a bit formula for me. Wouldn't listen again.

A Journey is Tony Blair’s first-hand account of his years in office and beyond. Here he describes for the first time his role in shaping our recent history, from the aftermath of Princess Diana’s death to the war on terror. He reveals the leadership decisions that were necessary to reinvent his party, the relationships with colleagues, the gruelling negotiations for peace in Northern Ireland, the battles over education and health, the implementation of the biggest reforms to public services since 1945.
