I loved this story...
I was listening to it at work and had a very hard time not bursting into tears...I loved every single character...well except Mason's wife
The author needs to learn the art of editing. If it wasn't for the constantly repeated sentences, the book could have been a few hours shorter.
The female narrator was decent but the male narrator was annoying. I seriously thought about returning the book.
This was a fun story that had me laughing out loud several times (not as much as Tangled).
I preferred Sebastian York as the narrator.. Deacon Lee did not do as good a job with the female characters (especially Mackenzie)
I had to listen to this at 1.5x speed and the narration still felt slow.
Not impressed by the story; I guessed her "secret" pretty quickly and the story ended very abruptly.
My least favourite of the series
I'm never read a romance novel from the male perspective. It was hilarious! i can't wait for the next one
I've read many Terry McMillan books but it' the first time I listened to one. I did not like the multiple narrators; I think I would have enjoyed it more if Phylicia Rashad had read the entire book.
As for the story, it was nothing special; not at all original.
I love this book. It reminds of why I like Sophie Kinsella books so much. Listening to it for the second time and it's still making me giggle!
it started off very slow and i got bored. I put it aside for over a week before going back to it. I figured out part of the ending pretty early..the "big reveal" was more layered than I expected but it was pretty much what i expected.
It was a light fun book.
Got many giggles from some of the ridiculous situations... It's been a while since I enjoyed a Sophie Kinsella book this much.
I don't know it this story is any good cause the narrator is putting me to sleep.
Yes because I love James Grippando & the Swytech series...
the story was a little over the top...at some points it felt left a bad soap opera.
It started out really well but then it took a weird turn: I did a lot of eye-rolling
I love Jonathan Davis as a narrator; he did a great job on this one as he does on everything else I've heard him read
James Grippando is my favourite author; I look forward to every book he writes (the way between books is just too long) but this is not his best. But still I'm looking forward to the next installment of the Swytech series
