I found myself tuning out sometimes in this book because of I would forget who the minor characters were. Part of this was because I would take long pauses between listening. But the story of the main characters and the mystery of how they intertwine was suspenseful and entertaining.
I have always loved Carol Burnett and still love her after hearing her read her book. I loved the way she wrote and told every one of them. If you love Carol as much as I do, you'll love this.
It took me awhile to get used to a woman reader. I felt she didn't have a enough drama in her voice. And, for some strange reason, when she read the men's parts I just couldn't find it believable. Yet, when I hear a man read a woman's part, I don't have a problem with that.
I found the myself interested in Sarah's story, but not Julia's, so I was bored whenever she was narrating. And disappointed in the result of Sarah's story.
