After being murdered by a mystery assailant, navigating his way through the realm between life and death, and being brought back to the mortal world, Harry realizes that maybe death wasn’t all that bad - because he is no longer Harry Dresden, Chicago’s only professional wizard. He is now Harry Dresden, Winter Knight to Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness. After Harry had no choice but to swear his fealty, Mab wasn’t about to let something as petty as death steal away the prize she had sought for so long.

    Story
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who things good moral people like Harry Dresden talks with a filthy mouth while saving the day, putting himself in harms way to save the innocent and the helpless. Someone feeble minded enough to actually like the book more just because of the filthy language.

Has Cold Days turned you off from other books in this genre?

    No, just from the Author.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of James Marsters?

    He is perfect.

What character would you cut from Cold Days?

Just the language. Story is superb.

    Any additional comments?

This really goes to show how authors of great talent have polluted themselves and there work and ruined a otherwise extraordinarily good book. The things Dresden says in this book don't even go along with the mood of the scene. Its like the author was paid to put so many horrible words in the book and they were just throwed in at various places. Authors get a CLUE!!! A book don't have to say GD this and FCK that to sell a book!!!! In fact you actually sell less because there are still a few who don't listen to trash mouths and the one who does won't turn down the book because the trash isn't in it!!!
