The Inclusion of a young child as a main character made this really enjoyable. Eve is always so hesitant in her dealings with children, so to have a plot where Eve and Roarke are in such close proximity to this character is brilliant.

I don't like comparing books with others, each is separate from the other.
To make an attempt at similar types, though, perhaps Tami Hoag books could be of similar type. Readers could also try Kate Kingsbury, Ann Charles, Elizabeth Lowell is another favourite and there are others to be found.

Also it might be pertinent to write that J D Robb is actually Nora Roberts (for those who don't know) and Nora has written some really good mysteries under her own name, i.e., Angels Fall, Sanctuary, Hot Rocks and others. These are good reading as well. Don't know if they are all available as audio but some are.

Nixie Swisher the little girl who plays such a large part in the novel. I think she was performed really well and drawn as a character really well, too.

Yes! I already have listened and read Honored Vow multiple times because the story is wonderful.

I always adore Jin and Logan, they are such a great pairing and they are always fun and exciting to read about.

Domin Thorne is getting better with each story and I hope audible will have the next book 'Crucible..." on audio soon, I have already read the book half a dozen times.

Crane is such a sweetheart and I love him.

I haven't a favourite performance, Jeff does an excellent job.

When Logan calls to Crane in Cranes' room, after Jin makes him shift back to human, that scene with Logan and Crane is so touching. The bond between the Semel and his people is shown in such a simple and moving way in this scene.

Just hope Mary Calmes and Audible continue to work together and create more of the Change of Heart series.

Definitely will listen again because it is a beautiful story and the setting is wonderful. I loved the way that the music set off the setting and the premise of the story. Jeff Gelder was a wonderful narrator, though, at first I was biased against him as I loved Sean's narration of the first book. After listening for awhile I began to fall for Jeff's narration and I really enjoyed his reading.

Of course, you compare the book to Change of Heart and the series because this is what the story is apart of.

As I said earlier Jeff's performance is wonderful, after some early reservations I really took to his reading.

I don't know what I'd name it, I like the title it has.

I'm hoping that soon I'll see 'Honored Vow' and 'Crucible of Fate' the next 2 books in the 'Change of Heart series' on audible.

Yes, of course I'd like to listen agan and have listened again-many times. What I like about this 'in death' book is that we learn more about Dr Morris, his past and see him away from the morgue, where he's usually seen.

There are too many characters to choose from, but I always enjoy Peabody, Feeney, Mavis Freestone and Crack.

I enjoyed Dr Morris in this one, mainly because the story is his.

The 'in death' series is one of my favourites, so I recommend the series to all readers and audio listeners.

Lucas. He is such a loving human being who is trying to put his life back together and regain his self -confidence, that you can emphasize with this character. He is special and in need of a loving, consoling presence.

Lucas was definitely my favourite character and performed very well.

The revelation of events that occurred in Lucas's past made me cry. For him.

This is a remarkable story, really heart wrenching at times. Lovely.

I would recommend this to others who love this kind of story, because it is such a wonderfully romantic and sexy read.

The moment when Jin and Logan first meet each other's eyes! Impact! What a memorable moment.

Jin--Sean makes Jin so real, you almost feel like you are in the story with Jin.
Crane is also another character I love. He's funny and real, too.
Sean Crisden is now my favourite performer, he's great.

My extreme reaction is that I love it and now have both audiobook and book, I also have the sequels "Trusted Bond" and "Honored Vow". They are both brilliant.

Mary Calmes is on my book list for continuing to read.

It's really other worldly yet sexy. It has these great gothic aura in dreams and fantasy and it's amazingly romantic.

Will is may favourite character, he is loving and caring but we also know that he has power all of his own.
I also love Alex the Alpha of Benjamin's pack, I don't think that Rhianne has written Alex's story, although we have glimpses of the events that occured, but I'd love to find a full novel of Alex and Raul.

Jack did so well, I actually enjoyed Will, Raul, Richard, Tristan and Alex. It's hard to choose which character was the better.

Oh yes, you can't stop listening. I listened and then listened again. Terrific.

The sounds and thrill of knowing the characters already. Being able to continue the story on and find out the future.

Luke Skywalker! He just continues to evolve in the continuing series of books, of which, there are many-so he retains my interest with each story.

Dev Sibwarra's death, after everything he'd been through and the bond growing between him and Luke, this was such a distressing scene.

There were touching scenes between Luke and Gaerial that moved me, and the final goodbye was touching, yet destined both having other fates to live.

There are now dozens of further books of Star Wars, which covers the lives of Luke, Leia, Han and their families. Some are wonderful, others are mediocre but if you want to know more of the future of Luke and those close to him, you should read/listen to more of them. I now have 60 or more novels of Star Wars and more are being published it seems every moment.
I do recommend the Star Wars series to those who are true Star Wars lovers, to those who are mere visitors to the stories I suggest "The Truce at Bakura" is a good place to start, it begins after the destruction of the Death Star on Endor so it has immediacy to the movie/book plotline.

Funny, exciting, refreshing.

I don't think the story is a edge of your seat, but you move through the story with Peter, Harriet and Bunter searching with them for the responsible person/s.

Other than Sir Peter and Lady Harriet. I liked Ian's rendition of Mrs Ruddle, he does her so well and of course Bunter who is a favourite character of mine.

There are a couple of sensitive moments that touch you, when Miss Agnes Twitterton reveals to Harriet her love for Frank Crutchley, you feel some sympathy for her at this time and at the end of the story there is a moment with Sir Peter, just after the climax when the responsible person has been removed, Sir Peter has that 'punch in the stomach' moment when he reflects on the horror of the crime, this is a turly wrenching moment.

I love Dorothy Sayers books and I have many of them on audiobook, they are well worth the time of reading or listening. I recommend her to everyone.

I love Mary Calmes and have all of her books on audio and on eBook. This is a great story and has wonderful characters. Looking forward to seeing 'Trusted Bond' on audio soon, I hope!.
