Over the years I have listened to many of Zig's books. This is by far the best.
Friends told me about "The Shack" which I have listened to a number of times - excellent story, but "Cross Roads" is even better. Excellent story and excellent message. This is one of the best books I have ever read or listened to.
Seeing God in a whole new light - and realizing that only God can take a terrible tragedy and turn it inside out.
This is one of the best stories that I have every listened to or read.
Very good narration.
A few friends recommended this book, and it is truly one of the best I have ever heard - in fact, I have listened to it again a number of times.
His Own Story.
Luis tells us what's it's really like, coming home from a war in which you can't always see the enemy.
Well written and well read - Luis does a great job of telling his own story in his own words with his own voice.
For people like Luis, the cost of war in places like Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, is much grerater than the cost in the dollars and cents that the government tells us about.
This is the best book I have ever listened to. Make sure you have a box of kleenex handy because there are times when you will need it. The story is very touching, to say the least.
The role of Pinkertons and spying - sounds like a dry subject - but not when dealt with by John Jakes. This is an exciting book, and once you start to listen, you will have a hard time hitting the "stop" button.
This is an excellent audio book and I highly recommend it.
