Great story, excellent parallels to current events.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story, I have read the original story, and this one is just as good.
I started to just skip this novel, since it was centered on overseas characters. Glad that I went ahead and picked it up. I really enjoyed it almost as much as Rawles' other books. Technical novels require that you listen more than once and take notes, but I really do enjoy them.
I'm not really sure why this book left me feeling like I'd wasted my time listening to it. I thoroughly enjoy dystopian fiction, but this one really felt like a waste of time. The main character is prepared for everything except his neighbors. I won't be purchasing the sequels.
Documented and referenced facts that show Common Core for what it is. Main stream Democrat and Republican alike are pushing to make Common Core the law of the land. Thankfully, the American people, of every stripe, from the most liberal Democrat to the most conservative Republican are joining together on this common goal, defeating the elitist desire to create drones to do their bidding. Read up on how to respond to the low information people who think that every child should be educated exactly the same way.
Truly enjoyed the history of America in 10 guns. Excellent way to tell the story.
This book is the author's first and is a good effort, you can tell that he learned a lot about writing and I look forward to more in the series.
Book 3 continues the story well. The action keeps up, the story progresses well, and the characters are good. The narration is great, and I'm enjoying the series. Looking forward to Book 4, so be aware, this doesn't seem to be the end, and if you can't stand waiting a while to find out what happens next, might want to wait until the series is done.
Book 2 of the Surviving Home series continues the story line. The author keeps the story moving, provides a lot of information in addition to the story, and makes me look forward to more. The narration is good, too.
Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book, the story is great, characters believable, and keeps you on the hook for more. The narration is good, and looking forward to the sequels.
The story is pretty good, gutted my way through the horrible narration. Sounded like by the end of it that they just gave up on editing the tape. The reader repeats sentences, makes obvious mistakes, and they just keep on going. I'll pick up the sequels, but this audio book really needs to be redone.
The story begun in Patriots continues in this parallel book. The story tracks alongside, filling in gaps and expanding on the information provided in Patriots. I thoroughly enjoyed the information provided, the narrative and the tale. Listened to the story twice, then bought the written book.
