Yes, but only to get the story line behind it.
The story itself seemed very choppy and not descriptive like her previous novels were. I'm not sure if this was due to the narration (he spoke rather fast) or just the overall content. The perspective sounded more like you were reading from someone's diary with all the colorful details left out.
Voices were pleasant, but he spoke too fast for my liking.
Yes, as there is more story that is needed to fill the time until the Charlie Bone series begins.
I really enjoyed this book and didn't even mind Stephen King's narration. It was different than how George narrated the previous books, but I don't think that made it bad. Maybe it's just me, but Stephen's reading of Bag of Bones is one of my very favorites.
Honestly, anything that will bring more time and more stories to this collection, I am all for it.
This constant reader says thanks!
Love the book - I really enjoyed the first two as well. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the narration. It was good for most of the story, but I didn't care for how he voiced the girls. A little too "valley girl" for me. Overall, if you enjoyed the first two books, you will like this one too.
