Will never listen to the narrator again, but will of course get the authors books again.
couldn't understand him clearly when switching from one character to the next
Don't know, couldn't get past the first 2 hrs.
Not worth the time or credit, very disappointed
It's up there with the rest of the thriller mysteries I listen to
The Boston accent
I really didn't like that DD was injured. That storyline just wasn't believable.
Edgy, scary, fantastic
There hasn't been one this good for a long time. This should be compared to an action movie, instead of a book
There wasn't enough distinction in the female voices
I was so scared for Brady and Yuki and I couldn't imagine anything bad happening to them, but it was real, on the edge of your seat storytelling.
I loved how they wrapped up Mackie's story line and the fact that there were belly bombs is a real scary possibility, but I think we will see Donna and her half brother in the next storyline
Wordy, the book was too wordy and it dragged on and on to the point that I was getting bored with the subject matter
The ones where there was interaction with the homeless people
There could have been more distinction in the voices of the characters. I had a hard time distinguishing the characters In conversations.
No it pretty much killed the time on my commute to and from work.
I wanted to know more about Pearl and Dandy? How did they get to be homeless?
I love that Sam has completely let down any walls she has with Nick
I love how strong the women of this series are. This story was no different.
Never take your eye off the ball!
Lust, Lust and Lust...We all want what we can't have, and then when we get it, we don't know what to do with it. The story comes full circle...She really has no one else to blame but herself
Haven't listened to any others
She's Ok...since I haven't listened to the other one, I can't compare.
Yes, absolutely...It was pretty hot
Very disappointed in the ending...a book shouldn't just end like that
Probably not because I want to listen to the rest of the series first
The most memorable moment was when I found out that the senator and the couple had been put "out to pasture"
I listened to Weekend Warriors and she was awesome then and now
Revenge of the fittest
I don't know, I didn't read the print edition, but I love this story and the characters
I think I liked the camaraderie of the women how they look after each other and Charles looks out for all of them
I liked all of them for different reasons. I least liked Julia, she seemed so weak and timid. Loved Katherine and her spunk. Loved Myra for her generosity. Felt bad for Nicky and her situation with Jack but admired her sticking to her guns. Not sure about the others yet. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!!!
It was very boring. It took too long to get through the introduction and into the actual story, I gave up on it as it was too boring and it wasn't getting to the meat of the story fast enough
I had a hard time distinguishing the characters by her voice
I liked the thought of the book, the idea behind it and the idea of secrets between couples but I couldn't get far enough into the book to find out because I got bored.
I love the Alex Cross series and will continue to listen, but this book was too chopped up for me. I don't see the point in the two storylines, why couldn't it have been about the hostage situation and not about the terrorist. I didn't get that, why speed through one story line just to go back to another one, I was rather confused and irritated. It wasn't realistic, how many things could go on on one Christmas. The first story line made sense, but the reason they introduced the second, made no sense.
It was ok, pretty predictable, no surprises
Definitely the emotion. You get so involved that you forget that you are listening and sometimes react out loud
Follow up to what?!?!?!?! How can you follow up something that was concluded
I think this is also a coming of age story along with a love story.
The tone and the matter-of-factness, where Abigail would just start with her braniac speeches
There were many parts where I laughed out loud, and there were parts that tore my heart, I was in her corner from the beginning
There was a loose end that was not tied up and that's why I only gave the story 4 stars. What was the verdict?
