Probably not. There didn't seem to be much technical information or pretty much missing the answer to why. It feels these stories are concerned more with how people interact and relate to the situation of The Returned. I am not in the mood for a soap opera. I will wait for reviews of the actual book before I take the leap.
He is okay.
For free, sure.
Since it was a little more than an hour long, I figure it doesn't compare to "normal" books.
The fact that they stopped the war for Christmas celebration.
Multiple narrators add life to the story.
Good period piece that we will never experience ever again.
I have no idea. I don't like to physically read a book. Hearing a book is much better.
no extreme reaction
I enjoy the dark humor written into the story of death and destruction.
Walt. He kicked butt and didn't care if he would be killed. He always came out on top, after the world fell apart. Ray Chase gave Walt some character.
No but I loved his one liners and humor. His voice comes across great.
I enjoyed book one, more than I expected. I am looking forward to Book 2.
Don't know. Did not read the print version.
I enjoyed the trip through the Florida towns since I live in South Florida. I was learning about cities I never heard of before. Of course the sci-fi was pretty good. I like the idea that they didn't fall for many schemes. Definitely a lot of survivor jargon and article names I did not recognize. It took me a while to figure out what NVGs were.
First time listener.
Florida - See it like a native of the 1500s
I was amazed there is actually a Wal-Mart in Perry, Florida. It was fun to have a map handy to see where the characters were. Their attention to detail was amazing and fun.
The Running Man
The Running Man. A strong willed character.
I don't believe I have.
No. But come to think of it, the end where he walks around. It grossed me out quite a bit. I cannot say any more.
I liked the book more than the movie. Although the movie was good, the book delivered the story better.
Sure. It is quite an interesting look at how the first families behave when the camera is turned off. There are plenty of the good and bad stories about the man and his family that holds the highest office in the land.
To learn how power hungry Hilary Clinton is and what a not-so-nice person she is to work for.
I am not sure. It was amazing that Joe wants to appear like average Joe on his weekly trips to Delaware and not have the football within easy reach. A dangerous man.
Besides accounts of first family life, there is a lot of information about the Secret Service itself. Due to recent events, it was an interesting book to listen to.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
Parallel time zones.
Probably not. It was an okay read.
Individual voices were nice and broke up the story well.
Seems like that was where the ending ended.
It was an okay book. Nothing gained nothing lost.
Only if they enjoy etymology. If so, yes I would recommend this book. I did enjoy it.
The origins of language. Also the narrator presented the information in a pleasant manner.
Do not recall.
A good book if you are interested in etymology, not to be confused with entomology.
Entertaining fantasy adventure
Loved the various British accents.
A journey to another world beneath your feat.
Normally I am not interested in fantasy stories, but this was a nice diversion from the gloom-and-doom books I usually enjoy. I found the characters well rounded and quite interesting. I really enjoyed how the narrator brought the characters to life.
