Nothing stands out.
I believe it was a nice interruption between the longer titles I read.
Alec - Tough guy
Don't lose your trans-vice
I enjoyed the complete series of books. I am glad they made the prequel.
Overall it seemed well-spent. Time will tell if I learned anything.
No. There is enough there to read once.
No. I don't re-read what I have already read.
No idea, but maybe cut down on the foul language.
No I have not.
The Shining Part 1.
It was an enjoyable read, but it is not my favorite Stephen King book.
May have gotten some ideas on writing, but nothing specific.
It was an okay read. I guess I was looking for something else. It took me a long time to finish, but I did.
Brazil, Animal Farm and some other book that I forgot the title where everyone is given an alpha-numeric name. Not the Russian version, but the English version. All have the same level of hopelessness.
The scenes in the room above the antique shop.
This is the first time I "read" the audio book version of 1984. I saw the old and newer versions of the movie. I love the story, but the audio book seems more depressing. I now need to read something happier with some hope, like a good end-of-the-world story.
I had to skip through the 20+ minute appendix. When the story ended, I was ready to move on.
The concept was good, but the follow-through was a bit weak. I am not sure what could have made it better.
More interesting stories?
I believe all of the narrators did an excellence job with the stories they had to work with.
For the first part, the reaction was dread. The first story was painful to listen to and I couldn't wait to get to the second story. The second and third stories were okay. The fourth and fifth stories were enjoyable to listen to.
I gave it a star for every story I liked in the five-story book. Hence 2 stars out of 5.
No, I only have time and energy to read a book once.
I can only say that two were my favorites: Donald and Juliette. Both characters were like-like and very 3-dimensional.
Same as above.
I enjoyed each book of the series. It was a lot of story over a lot of time. While long, it was not at all boring. I would recommend this book series to anyone to read.
Yes, it was interesting, fast-paced and exciting.
Newt. He was an interesting character with a cool accent. Jorge was a close second.
Probably where they take their last flat-trans trip and see the surroundings.
The Maze Trilogy or WICKED is Good.
I enjoyed the multitude of characters. The narrator did an excellent job distinguishing between them all.
Love is a strong word especially for "things". I enjoyed the whole book for the endless maze of puzzles.
Nothing stands above the other scenes.
Hope everything cleans up well in Book 3.
Yes. It was interesting and suspenseful.
The cube. Same idea, sort of.
Just started Book 2.
