From the author of the best-selling Three Junes comes an intimate new work of fiction: a tale of two sisters, together and apart, told in their alternating voices over 25 years. Louisa Jardine is the older one, the conscientious student, precise and careful: the one who yearns for a good marriage, an artistic career, a family. Clem, the archetypal youngest, is the rebel: uncontainable, iconoclastic, committed to her work but not to the men who fall for her daring nature.

Where does I See You Everywhere rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I heard an excerpt of this book on "book radio" on satelite, and I needed to heart it from the beginning. I laughed and cried many times during this listen. Well worth it.

What did you like best about this story?

It was a fascinating story. Leaving many questions unanswered as they should be, but giving a very realistic view of an often untold event.

Have you listened to any of Mary Stuart Masterson and Julia Glass ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to any other performances

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I listened to it over a one week period.

Plotted in secret, launched in the dark, John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry was a pivotal moment in U.S. history. But few Americans know the true story of the men and women who launched a desperate strike at the slaveholding South. Now, Midnight Rising portrays Brown's uprising in vivid color, revealing a country on the brink of explosive conflict. Brown, the descendant of New England Puritans, saw slavery as a sin against America's founding principles. Unlike most abolitionists, he was willing to take up arms, and in 1859 he prepared for battle at a hideout in Maryland....

I really enjoy all things Tony Horwitz. This book really is a great history lesson. Much more than I ever learned in US History in school. I was amazed by the detail of the story, and all that it entailed. I am a fan of this period in history, and my curiosity is peaked once again to learn more.

I listened to this book for a book club. I have the digital version also, and read this with my mom. I must say what an enrapturing story it became. I had trouble getting into it, but once I allowed myself, towards the end, I couldn't turn it off. It surprised me right up to the very end.

    Well worth the listen!

Well, this book actually helped to change my life. I usually don't go for this type of book, but I am glad I did. This book gave me the best advise that I decided to accept - stop saying I will, and live like you are!

I am... and that's all there is to it.

    Thank You Dr. Wayne!

In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

As a fan of the HBO Series first, a friend encouraged me to listen to the books, advising I would learn much more of the "behind the scenes" information I was craving. So I just finished book one a couple of weeks ago, and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it! There were many times that I couldn't stop listening and would put my headphones in and go into the grocery store still listening to this book. I can't wait to read book 2... book 3... and all of them!

The only slightly annoying piece is that the narrator often will call people by variations of their name - Joffrey will be jeffrey, jeff, joffrey or joff... and there is the occasion when Bran will be called Brad and you have to think a minute to wonder if there isn't some other character in there. But you get used to that quickly!

When prize-winning war correspondent Tony Horwitz leaves the battlefields of Bosnia and the Middle East for a peaceful corner of the Blue Ridge Mountains, he thinks he's put war zones behind him. But awakened one morning by the crackle of musket fire, Horwitz starts filing front-line dispatches again - this time from a war close to home, and to his own heart.

Would you consider the audio edition of Confederates in the Attic to be better than the print version?

I own both the audio and print version, but read the print version first and couldn't put it down. I don't know that I enjoyed the audio version more, except that I am able to multi-task while listening to a book.

What did you like best about this story?

As a fan of the US Civil War period, I thoroughly enjoyed Tony Horowitz's recounting of his "civil war-gasm", as well as his thoughts about the various types of folks who participate in reenacting.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are many moments that are particularly moving, especially as he is interviewing people about their modern thoughts on the US Civil War.

    Any additional comments?

I feel this is well written, informative and entertaining. This is a book that I would read again and again.
