As a therapist specializing in sexual issues, psychiatrist Dr. Morgan Snow isn't easily shocked, or shaken, as readers of the popular "Butterfield Institute" novels know. There are times, however, when the need for her services leads her out of the office... and into unfamiliar worlds. In these stories, the therapist matches her wits -and her training - against three men of mystery: Jack Reacher, John Rain, and Cotton Malone.

The stories in Simon Rich's new book, The Last Girlfriend on Earth, are bizarre, funny, and yet...relatable. Rich explores love's many complications - losing it, finding it, breaking it, and making it - and turns the ordinary into the absurd. With razor-sharp humor, and just in time for Valentine's Day, the story “Eureka” takes listeners for an exhilarating, hilarious ride on the rollercoaster of love.

What disappointed you about Eureka: A Free Story from 'The Last Girlfriend on Earth'?

I had no idea what the story was about. The story selected was not a good enticement to get me to read the book.

Would you ever listen to anything by Simon Rich again?

    probably not.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Eureka: A Free Story from 'The Last Girlfriend on Earth'?

I would have included a story that had a beginning, middle, and end.
