"what!!!"
I love the paranormal but this story, whilst having a lot of promise in the subject matter, was very poorly written and a total waste of time.
"worst narrator"
Could not listen to this. This narrator should be reading for Mills & Boon - she is impossible to listen to and spoiled the story completely.
"A great listen"
This classic story is written in typical Stephen King style and holds your interest throughout with an excellent ending. Narration is very well done also.
"OK"
Very dated and boring story. Narration was excellent though.
"Brilliant story"
A terrific read - and you must continue on to the next 2 books in the series. The detail and descriptions are essential to the 3 stories and most enjoyable. If you don't like details then stick to abridged books. So well written and original. Loved them. Do yourself a favour and get these books.
"It's OK"
Not a bad story but not brilliant by any means. The characters were good but there was certainly no nail-biting tension. The narration was excellent and suited the story well.
"Too juvenile"
I found the Twilight books to be quite compelling and very well written but found Vampire Academy to be a juvenile, boring and very 'girly' story. Thank goodness I have not bought any more of this series.
"Very enjoyable story"
If you loved Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons then you will love this one also. An excellent and interesting plot which is beautifully written. Paul Michael does a terrific narration.
"Narrator spoiled the story"
The narrator was very poor at accents and female voices - quite painful really. Would have preferred to have read the story instead.
"Bit boring"
Not a bad story just run-of-the-mill. A few of the accents the narrator used were bad, the Australian accent was appalling. Nothing particularly interesting here. Something you can listen to without really listening.
