"Great ending for a great series"
Great epic fantasy
Eragon - Never forgot where he came from and stayed true to to whom he was... even as temptation and greatness pulled him into arogance... he stayed the course.
You have to love Saffira... great job by Gerald on all charachters, but the dragons were very well represented.
Without giving away the ending too much... I particularly identified with what happens after the battle has been won and you are left to lessor duties. The challenge of a superhero after a vanquish is more challenging than the battle itself. My favorite part was Eragons decision in the aftermath and his reasoning for it.
I almoast didn't buy this book because of the contraversy about the ending in the comments I read. In the end I had to buy this book because I had invested so much into it in the previous 3 books that Christopher had written. I was very much suprised and pleased when I found the ending to be more sofisticated and thought out than the reviews had led me to believe. It was a great story and very well written... I can see where the author had imersed himself into this world that he wrote about. In the end... I am very well satisfied and glad I invested the time to enoy this epic... and would be glad to read his future projects as well.
"I couldn't finish it"
I will not purchase another book read by Debi but will continue with Janet at a later date. I really enjoyed the first 4 books of this series. The charachters and reading had been very entertaining. However, I couldn't finish this one. The reader went way too fast for me to keep up with and had a seedy tone that really took the book into a different direction from the previous reader.
I will be returning to my epic novels for awhile, but will return for another Janet Evanovich book in the future
No. She doesn't have the experience or depth to perform multiple charachters male and female.
"Dissapointed"
I understand the human condition and the brutality of war, but the raw, brutal sex scenes were over the top... I did not need to revisit that perspective on every other chapter to get it. Other books in this genre do not go this far and I will be looking for others that concentrate on developing the story line
I liked Roy and thought he did a good job with the number of charachters presented.
Sex is a part of human life and the dark side should probably be represented... but the reader just needs to understand the context... not reminded of the details so often. Tone it down
The story line itself was not bad... it just needs to be more of the focus for the reader
"Good Read"
Yes... the characters are right on and belivable in this setting. Susanne does a great job at keeping the emotions and reactions age appropriate.
The story line is what drew me in... and it did not dissapoint me
She was great... a good differentiation between characters and always spot on with the emotions. Her pace was not too hurried and she did not wain twords the end. Good job!!
Although I felt this book was written for a younger aged reader... I found it quite compelling and bridged that gap quite well
"The First 90 Days"
I found this to be excellent... audio was good and the content exceptional... It reinforced much of my own experience
