"A Wonderful Story"
I read this novel about 5 years ago and enjoyed it immensely. This is just a wonderful story, rich with details - I often found myself completely swept away with the author's reading. One of my favorite books of all time.
"Awesome!"
Audio books don't get much better than this. Fascinating look at music legend's life - ups and downs. Seems very honest in the telling. Narration is spot on. KR comes across as much more than just a drugged up rocker. I enjoyed this as much as the Andre Agassi autobiography. Highly recommended!
"Wow!"
I'm by far not the first reader of this book who never played tennis and really didn't pay attention to pro tennis while growing up. But - this book is absolutely compelling from start to finish. One of the best I've listened to and I've been an Audible member for 6 years at 2 books a month... Agassi is a very interesting person with an extraordinary story. His honesty is fascinating. I hated to turn this one off between commutes. Can't recommend a book more highly. Very, very well done.
"Outstanding"
I've been an Audible customer for many years and this gem is among a very small handful of books I consider the best. They just don't get much better than this one. Follett absolutely drew me in with his characters, sense of place and story. I enjoyed every single minute of this book and was disappointed when it finally ended. I have started his next book, World Without End. So far, another great read. Enjoy!
"Outstanding"
Absolutely outstanding. Not a dull moment. Highly recommended and the narrator is very good. Gave me a very strong appreciation for George Washington and other American patriots who literally risked everything, including their lives, for the Glorious Cause. I had forgotten how much in doubt the outcome of the Revolutionary War was until the French became our allies. Great history lesson.
