In the Tall Grass begins with a sister and brother who pull off to the side of the road after hearing a young boy crying for help from beyond the tall grass. Within minutes they are disoriented, in deeper than seems possible, and they've lost one another. The boy's cries are more and more desperate. What follows is a terrifying, entertaining, and masterfully told tale, as only Stephen King and Joe Hill can deliver.

What would have made In the Tall Grass better?

I love Stephen King. It was his books that first got me to love reading, but this was not one of his better efforts. The concept of the story was interesting, but in the end it's just a gross-out shocker that turns out just to be gross. It's like King really wanted to do "something" with his son, and so they just cranked this out in an afternoon.

Would you ever listen to anything by Stephen King and Joe Hill again?

    Oh sure.

Did Stephen Lang do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    The narrator was just fine.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from In the Tall Grass?

Eating aborted fetuses is about as yuck as you can get.
