"So much better than the movie"
This book is nothing like the movie. After finishing the book i saw the movie again and maybe 5% of the book was used in the movie. Not even the major plot is the same.
If you liked the first movie and the first book definitely read this book. It is very detailed and keeps the listener interested all the way through
"Great for Starcraft lore lovers"
The characters are very interesting and you learn a lot about Raynor, Kydd and Findlay.
I tried to listen to the book about 4 times but the first hour or so did not catch my interest. After deciding to listen it all the way through i listen to it in two sittings. After the first hour/hour and a half you are introduced to more characters and the story becomes more interesting.
A great book for Starcraft lore lovers. If lore doesn't interest you, dont listen to it. If you are looking for a good si-fi story, look else where.
"Looking forward to the next part."
The reading was performance was great and the story kept me interested.
I first started reading The Passage as paperback and the first third of the book was great and a real page turner. During the middle third i got tired of the story and the characters. I switched to the audiobook version and the performance was great. The last third of the book became really interesting again.
Looking forward to the next part. This time i will only listen to it.
"Solid story"
After reading Wilson's Robopocalypse I was looking forward to a new book from him. This book is really good but doesn't have the spark that makes it a great book like Robopocalypse.
It is an interesting book and i would recommend it.
